Victoria Gerald Macha
Research Assistant
Bio: Victoria works with the KCMC-DUKE collaboration and her main role as a research assistant is assisting in data collection, recruiting participants, obtaining consents and conduction interview. Currently she is working on PRACT: Pragmatic Randomized Adaptive Clinical Trial to Investigate Controlling Alcohol- related Harms in a Low –Income Setting; Brief Intervention in Tanzania under the mentorship of Catherine Staton. Her greatest hope at the end of the study the community will be aware of excessive alcohol intake and its effects on mental health.
She holds Bachelor Degree in Human Resources from University of Arusha (UOA) and Master’s Degree in Business Management from Moshi Co-0perate University (MUCO). She is hardworking, flexible, energetic and always eager to learn new skills. Victoria enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with her family and she is a great political lover.
