Bio: Ashley Phillips (she/her) is the Director of OPerations of the GEMINI Center  at Duke. She shares responsibility for administrative and logistical management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for the center. In addition, she manages the NIH-funded PRACT Research Project, in collaboration with partners at KCMC.

Ashley joined Duke after earning her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has had a variety of experience in research and project management in the fields of health behavior research, injury prevention, workplace wellness, and adult education. She’s a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys playing board games, running, performing stand-up comedy, and exploring local parks and museums with her husband and young daughter.
