Anna Tupetz is an Assistant Professor at Duke University School of Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as the Global Emergency Medicine Innovation and Implementation Research Center (GEMINI) within the Duke Global Health Institute. She competed her academic and clinical training in the Netherlands and the United States. Clinically she practices as a Physical Therapist in the acute care setting.

Dr. Tupetz is particularly interested in leveraging interdisciplinary approaches to reduce the burden of consequential physical and non-physical disabilities following health emergencies.

Her research interests are the prevention of negative health outcomes by addressing Social Determinants of Health, health seeking behaviors and factors impacting quality care provision, utilizing mixed methods and qualitative study designs.

Her previous qualitative and implementation science research work spans across a variety of settings, countries, and patient populations.

She aids RDAC through working on qualitative requests with students.
