Modeling land use and hydrological interactions in the French Broad River

This is a new project; as such we are exploring a range of issues related to land and water use pressures in the French Broad River Basin of Western North Carolina. The goal of the project is to develop an enhanced modeling framework for assessing feedbacks between land and water use development in mountainous regions, to better represent the complex dynamics of coupled human and natural systems.
