Bio: Winnie is a medical doctor, with a specialty in epidemiology and applied biostatistics.  She will spend the next 3 – 4 years as a Ph.D. candidate at KCMUCo under the GEMINI D43 project scholarship.

Winnie is passionate about doing research that is going to change practice and improve the health of adolescents and young people in Tanzania. Her Ph.D. will focus on understanding and preventing alcohol-related injuries among adolescents and young people in Kilimanjaro. She is currently engaged in research activities at KCRI as a study coordinator.
