Bio: Vivian Frank Saria, is taking Her PhD at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University In Kilimanjaro Tanzania under the supervision of Prof Blandina Mmbaga-PhD, Dr. Catherine Staton, MD, MSc, Joao Vissoci, PhD, Anna Tupez MSc PhD. Her Research will Focus on Evaluating the Impact of TBI CPG Implementation among Health Care Providers and assessing the effect of Implementation on TBI patients Outcomes at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre- Northern Tanzania
Vivian is a Second Year PhD Student at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University in Moshi- Kilimanjaro. Her Research focus on Evaluating the longer-term effect of TBI clinical Practice guideline at Emergence Department -KCMC. She hopes that this study will help in identifying the gap and possibility to improve skills of health care providers for TBI management by using CPGs which will eventually lead to improve hospital outcomes. However, findings from this study will add value in the importance in Implementing and adapting TBI CPGs in other facilities with local diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic capacities. In addition, TBI CPGs may also provide added benefit in the most effective resource allocation in the low-resource setting. Vivian will be working closely with her supervisors Prof Blandina T Mmbaga who is a Director of Kilimanjaro Christian Research Institution-KCMC, Dr Catherine Staton who is Associate Research Professor in Neurosurgery, Department of Neurosurgery-Duke University School of Medicine, Joao Ricardo Nickenig Vissoci who is Associate Research Professor in Neurosurgery, Department of Neurosurgery- Duke University School of Medicine, Anna Tupez is working in the Duke University.
