Bio: Timothy will spend his 2 years of research fellowship at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Moshi Tanzania and sometime at Duke University, North Carolina USA under the joint mentorship from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre-Duke Health Collaboration and Duke University under the mentorship of Catherine Staton and Blandina Mmbaga. He serves as a Research Assistant in the Duke collaboration and he is also involved in writing and analysis of the ongoing research in the GEMINI Research Lab. His daily clinical data collection and his involvement in writing and analysis of ongoing research in GEMINI Lab gave him a craving desire to improve clinical care for injury patients through research whenever it seems there are health disparities to receive care at the Emergency Department. His research will focus on the after hours effect for trauma patients who are receiving care at the Emergency Department. His next step will be to assess any health care disparities that are caused by time metrics and focus more on implementation science researches that will improve care at the Emergency department especially those who need immediate care and treatment.

Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Mwenge Catholic University in Moshi Tanzania. Immediate after his graduation he secure an employment opportunity at KCMC Duke Collaboration and he serves as a Research Assistant in different research projects for more than 4 years and he was exposed  into scientific writing and data science skills development in the past 3 years up to today, Timothy aiming to use the knowledge that he will acquire during this research fellowship to accomplish his research appointments and at the same time serving as a Statistician at KCRI (Kilimanjaro Christian Research Institute) and Duke Collaboration. Timothy also will stand as s consultant, supervising and lead other researchers on doing injury researches at KCMC. You will find him either on football ground pitch playing football, sometimes jogging and online browsing memes on his free time
