Bio: Msafiri Pesambili joined University of Dar es salaam in 2007 through 2010 pursuing the bachelor of Geography and Environment studies. In 2011 Msafiri started working in in Dar es salaam as a part time field supervisor at Ipsos synovate research reinvented (private research company for social, economic and media monitoring surveys). In January-February 2013 Msafiri worked as research assistant at KCMC-Duke collaboration on, Effect of free distribution of safety equipment on usage among motorcycle-taxi drivers in Tanzania-A cluster randomized controlled trial, this study under DR. Steven Sumner. In May 2013 Msafiri continued working with Kcmc-Duke collaboration as a data clerk in different projects like traumatic brain injury (TBI), Alcohol and injury project, Understanding the mental Health for traumatic brain Injury patient, Brief Negotiation Intervention, PRACT etc. at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre-Duke collaboration Casualty studies under Dr. Catherine Staton.
Msafiri joined Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College Tumaini Makumira in 2015-2016 for a one-year course of Masters of Public Health (MPH). To the present Msafiri is still working at KCMC-DUKE University collaboration as a Data Manager under Dr. Catherine Staton.

Apart from formal daily activities mentioned above, Msafiri is also a football player, he also likes jogging, swimming, and maintaining home environment like planting trees and flowers at home in his free time.
