Bio: Irene works with Duke KCMC collaboration as a research assistant, her role is daily data collection. Currently she is working in a research study called PRACT: Randomized Adaptive Clinical Trial which is based on investigating and controlling alcohol-related harms in a low-income setting under the mentorship of Dr. Catherine Staton. Irene holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Mwenge Catholic university in Moshi-Tanzania. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she volunteered as a tutorial assistant at Medical records Collage. Now she serves as a research assistant at Duke KCMC Collaboration. She likes listening to music, watching movies and exploring during her free time.
