Dr. Happiness will be joining the 2 years Msc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Kilimanjaro Christian College that is funded by the TRECK D43 grant. Her research interests are on pediatric trauma. In her research she will be working to determine the overall trends of pediatric trauma patients and determine their survival using survival analysis methods. Study findings will help improve pediatric trauma patient care and probable prognostic/survival tool development for the pediatric trauma patients.

Dr. Happiness graduated her medical degree from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College and did her internship at Mawenzi regional referral hospital. During her undergraduate years she was able to work and engage in different research activities including manuscript writing and was able to co-author in two publications in the area of cervical cancer under the supervision of her mentor Dr. Innocent Mboya. Happiness enjoys reading and journaling in her free time, listening to good music and always thrilled at the thought of travelling to new destinations.
