Dr Frijenia will be doing her Msc in Epidemiology and Applied Biostatistics in Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College for two years. She will focus in the area of Geriatrics trauma basing on the tool for predicting mortality in this age group once subjected to trauma. For the purpose of validating the tool for predicting mortality as well as looking for its association with morbidities they have. During her training Dr Frijenia wishes to acquire skills in research proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative studies, different analysis methods that will enable her to be competent in the field of research which is her long lasting career.
Dr Frijenia is a university graduate at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College in 2021 did her Internship in the same Institute. Her passion on research started from the moment she joined her first year in medical school as she was able to participate in a number of community outreach; among few were for addressing the public health on assessing anemia, malnutrition to under-five in Moshi Rural area; also addressing the drivers for non communicable diseases among secondary school teachers in Moshi Municipal. She also ever engaged in writing a manuscript on Prevalence, factors and complications of knee osteoarthritis among adult patients seen at KCMC orthopedics clinics at June 2020, a cross sectional study, and the abstract got an opportunity to be presented in Tanzania Health Summit and the publication in still on the way to East African Health Research journal.
Dr. Frijenia loves to work on constant self-improvement and care in her free time through reading books, watching documentaries, working out, and sleeping. She is also a family woman and likes to spend time with her family, friends and loved ones. She has hobbies in watching movies and video games. She also has passion in cooking and in trying different tastes as well as traveling and learning different cultures of the world.
