Bio: Dr. Edwin will be doing his 2 year MSc Program at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University and Duke University. His Research will be focusing on primary prevention of Road Traffic Crashes and related injuries. In his research Dr. Edwin will be working to identify the needs, barriers, facilitators and resources required to develop an emergency hotline service to improve post-crash care in the country.

Dr. Edwin graduated Medical School at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, He did a one year internship program at the same institute and is currently working as a general practitioner in the department of Internal Medicine. During his time in the medical field he has done field research on obstetric emergency care and published two manuscripts, also presented two rare cases during his time in the pediatrics department and published the case reports. Dr. Edwin loves to work on constant self-improvement and care in his free time through reading books, watching documentaries, working out, hiking and sleeping. He is also a family man and likes to spend time with his family, friends and loved ones. He has hobbies in sports particularly soccer, formula one racing, basketball, movies and video games. He also has passion in travelling and learning different cultures of the world.
