Dr. Edwin is a Tanzanian clinician and researcher in his early career. He is currently a faculty in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College and also part of the Global Emergency Medicine Innovation and Implementation Research Center (GEMINI) at Duke University. He has special interests in data science, and translational and implementation research in Health. He is currently specializing in machine-learning and data science innovative interventions development, translation, and implementation research to improve emergency medicine and trauma care in low-resource settings. Dr. Edwin loves to work on constant self-care and spiritual growth in his free time through reading the bible, exercising, hiking, and connecting with his family, friends, and loved ones. He has hobbies in sports, particularly soccer, Formula One racing, basketball, animated movies, and video games. He also has passion in traveling and learning about different cultures.
