Dr Adeyeye A.A serves as the clinical research manager for the DUKE-GEMINI Nigeria research group. Their research is focused on the development of a sepsis registry to help investigate the current etiology and clinical manifestation of sepsis in Lagos, Nigeria, including the extent of malaria and HIV co-infection. The study will help develop locally relevant clinical management guideline for sepsis in Nigeria.

Dr Adeyeye graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 2021 and is looking to pursue a residency in Emergency Medicine in the near future. In her final year of medical school, she founded a national Emergency Medicine Interest Group in Nigeria and co-founded the Student council of the African Federation of Emergency Medicine. Her interests include emergency medicine, disaster medicine and medical education.

When not working clinically or on research, she enjoys volunteering, watching k-dramas and reality tv shows.
